A longstanding partnership: Goldwell supports the creativity of brand ambassador Valentino

The ladyboys campaign is a tribute to the kathoeys (transgenders) of Thailand. It shows fourteen women who have never faced the camera before in a professional capacity – in a completely novel context for them. The campaign was realised by Valentino, a beauty entrepreneur and hair stylist from Zurich. "My vision of showing the true beauty and perfection of the ladyboys has become a reality," he writes. "It was absolutely worthwhile to make this rather different kind of dream production come true."

With its "We Think Stylist" philosophy, Goldwell focuses on a close partnership with hairdressers and stylists who are concerned with more than just fabulous products. In the past the two companies have carried out many cooperative projects and events together. The ladyboys campaign takes this a step further. "Inspiration is the key to Valentino’s creativity. We are delighted with this campaign, which gives us the opportunity to support and foster the creativity of our long-term customer," says Mark Brunner, General Manager of Goldwell & KMS California (Kao Switzerland AG).
